How to Automatically Powder Coat a Propane Tank?
Powder coatings, as we know them, help propane tanks operate reliably over the long term by protecting the tank from the potentially damaging effects of exposure to moisture and bacteria. Propane tank manufacturers often require an automated powder coating line to increase efficiency. But how to perfectly powder coat cylindrical workpieces?
Based on more than 10 years of practice, a special propane tank powder spray booth and delivery system has been designed for customers all over the world. The automatic spray system combines a reciprocating powder gun for spraying the propane tank body and a stationary powder gun for spraying the top and bottom of the propane tank.
LPG powder coating booth
The automatic powder spraying room has a manual powder spraying station and an automatic reciprocating machine operation station. Allow 4-6 spray guns to move up and down through a set of reciprocators, the bottom 2 spray the bottom of the propane tank, and the other 2 are fixed on the top to powder coat the top of the propane tank. In order to save powder, a filter group stage is configured to recover powder efficiently.
Rotary Hanger Conveyor System
A delivery system enables propane tanks to pass automatically through booth openings. Importantly, it is designed with a swivel hanger that allows the tank to be rotated during transport, ensuring that the entire surface of the propane tank is covered with a powder coat.
