What is the difference between electrostatic spraying and baking paint
In furniture, hardware, automobile and other coating industries, electrostatic spraying and baking paint are often used. Many friends may not know them very well, and do not know the difference between the two. It doesn't matter, let's go up and take a look at the relevant knowledge.
1. What is the difference between electrostatic spraying and baking paint
1. Different ways of working
Electrostatic spraying mainly uses high-voltage static electricity to adsorb paint particles on the surface of the workpiece; and baking varnish is a new spray paint manufacturing process. The main body is polished first, and then enters the vacuum oven, sprayed with paint and baked at high temperature.
2. Surface difference:
The surface of electrostatically sprayed objects is relatively smooth, with higher brightness and hardness. The surface of the spray paint is matte, the hardness is softer, and the anti-corrosion properties of the two are basically the same.
3. The difference in quality
Electrostatic spraying products are relatively stronger, because the surface powder has been baked at high temperature and electrostatic adsorption treatment, which makes the surface look more complete, and makes the baking paint softer due to its hardness, and is prone to paint peeling or even bursting under the influence of high temperature weather And so on.
2. Precautions for electrostatic spraying operation
In the electrostatic spray painting area, do not place equipment not related to painting. In actual operation, it is not allowed to use portable lamps and other electrical equipment in the electrostatic spraying area. And pay attention to keep the air supply and exhaust state, if it is not turned on, you will not be able to enter the spraying work. After painting, the air supply and exhaust should continue for 5 to 10 minutes before closing it.
Pay attention during use, the voltage should be kept below 90,000 V, if the voltage is too high, it will harm human health; in order to quickly eliminate static electricity, when spraying, after using the spray gun, it should be in contact with the ground immediately, and the human body and the ground Do not insulate; the distance between the workpiece to be coated and the nozzle of the spray gun should be kept above 10cm, and it is not reliable to be too close to prevent short circuit.
