(1) A coating with a thickness of 100-300 μm can be obtained by one powder coating, while the use of ordinary coatings requires 4-8 times of construction, which improves the construction efficiency and shortens the production cycle.
(2) There is no solvent in the paint, no need to dilute and adjust the viscosity, which improves the working conditions, reduces the risk of fire, and is beneficial to protect the environment.
(3) To improve the adhesion and compactness of the coating, the mechanical and physical properties of the coating can be improved by mixing metal powder, ceramic powder, etc., and the corrosion resistance of the coating film is greatly improved.
(4) The degree of mechanization is high, and the excess paint can be recycled, which reduces the consumption of paint. (5) The coating equipment is complex, the investment cost is high, the appearance and leveling of the coating are not as good as the spraying method, and some powder coating methods have requirements for the shape and size of the workpiece. It can only be applied to powder coatings, and the cost is relatively high.
