Introduction to the heating method of powder coating equipment

There are two main heating methods for powder coating equipment, namely direct heating and indirect heating. Let's take a closer look at the characteristics of these two heating methods.

Direct heating method:

The direct electric heating spiral fin type is characterized by uniform temperature in the furnace and high adaptability of the workpiece. Solid state relays are used to regulate the temperature, and the temperature deviation in the furnace is small. The heating time is long, the equipment power is high, and the heating process is heated by hot air, the curing process can cause secondary contamination of dust, and the furnace occupies a large area.

Advantages: The heating rate is fast, the thermal energy conversion rate of the powder coating equipment is high, the furnace temperature control adopts proportional adjustment control, and the temperature control deviation in the temperature control furnace is small. Since the flame of the burner burns directly in the combustion chamber, the curing process can easily cause dust. and secondary pollution of exhaust gas.

Indirect heating method:

Divided into fuel oil and natural gas. The characteristics of the indirect combustion heating method require heating equipment, and the flame of the burner burning in the hearth of the heat exchanger, therefore, the material of the heat exchanger should be made of heat-resistant stainless steel. During the curing process, it does not cause secondary pollution of dust and exhaust gas, the temperature is uniform, and the temperature control can be controlled by two-stage fire control and proportional adjustment control.
