How to deal with dust particles appearing in spraying

The appearance of dust particles during the coating process plays an important role in the coating quality of the product.

Causes:
1. When spraying, dust falls into the paint film surface from the spray booth, spray tools and air.
2. Dust remains on the surface during polishing.
3. The cylinder paint is deteriorated or contaminated.
4. There is dust on the staff's clothes.
5. Plastic parts have static electricity and attract dust.
6. Move (walk) around the workpiece to raise dust.
7. The air pressure in the baking room is too low.
8. Filter cotton is clogged
9. There is dust on the floor of the oven
10. The walls of the baking room are dirty.
11. Ceiling cotton is not suitable.
12. The air ducts are dirty.
13. There are fibers falling from the tear of the masking paper.

Solution:
1. Thoroughly clean the area around the spraying area.
2. The dust must be blown off after polishing the paint film and putty.
3. Before spraying, carefully wipe the painted surface with a dust cloth and store the dust cloth in a clean polyethylene (plastic bag).
4. Filter the paint with a 140-180 mesh copper mesh.
5. Wear clean, fiber-free, anti-static spray work clothes (nylon).
6. Treat with antistatic agent. Do not degrease plastic parts after this.
7. Don't walk around in the baking room.
8. Check the oven pressure frequently.
9. Replace filter cotton regularly.
10. Keep the grill floor clean. Do not place anything unnecessary inside the oven.
11. Clean the baking room regularly.
12. Use suitable ceiling cotton.
13. Use an old rag to clean the 2m long air pipe under the spray gun. Do not let this section of pipe fall on the floor when spraying. Hang up the air pipe after spraying.
14. Using high-quality masking paper, fold the torn edges inwards and keep the smooth side of the paper facing out.
15. When spraying, you can use the needle tip to pick away the dust contained in the paint film. Small dust within the dry coating can be removed by polishing. If dust is trapped deep in the coating, the surface should be sanded and re-sprayed.
