Common Components for Powder‑Coating Equipment
Powder‑coating systems mainly offer two types of powder‑recovery solutions: cartridge‑type recovery units and double cyclone separators.
The cartridge‑recovery system relies on high‑efficiency filter cartridges to capture over‑sprayed powder, achieving a powder‑recovery rate of over 99%. Featuring a compact, simple structure, this system requires minimal maintenance. It is widely recommended for users who run single‑color production or a limited number of coating‑color changes.
By contrast, the double‑cyclone recovery unit is the preferred option for multi‑color spray booths. It delivers much faster color‑change efficiency, making it the ideal recovery equipment for factories that frequently switch coating colors during production.
In general, the powder‑feed supply assembly of a powder‑coating system includes a powder hopper (holds fresh spraying powder) and a vibrating sieve. Fresh powder can be loaded directly into the hopper. Both new powder and reclaimed recycled powder pass through the sieve to filter out impurities before spraying.
